I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Helsinki, and I focus on the Neo-Assyrian period. I am interested in gender and emotions, particularly masculinities in Neo-Assyrian texts. I used digital methods like word co-occurrences and word embeddings, as well as more traditional close reading of ancient Akkadian texts.
